A budget version of the Supra Classic 1.6 featuring fewer strands. Typical applications: Low power, medium short or treble wiring in a bi-wired or bi-amped Hi-Fi system.

Classic Series: The Original!

The Classic Series features flexible, multi-strand, oxygen-free, tinned 5N pure copper! In addition to corrosion resistance, the plating also contributes to a much-desired reduction in skin effect and prevents electrons (i.e. current) from destructively “jumping” between wire surfaces, thereby adding unwanted timing errors to the music signal. Selected chemically stable PVC insulation further enhances the sonically benign tin surface over time. Classic cables are also available in flame retardant and halogen versions; Classic / H FRHF .

The Classic Series, by today’s measurements, are good entry level cables and are available in sizes to suit a wide range of power transmission needs. Compared to any low-cost hi-fi kit including speaker cables, the Supra Classic will give a clearly audible improvement.
