A great feature of the Pi8 is that you can connect an external audio source via the mini-jack or USB input in the charging case, which transmits the signal to the earbuds. You can then enjoy full wireless freedom, including noise cancellation, while working on your laptop or watching movies from the in-flight entertainment system. In some cases, you will need a two-pole flight adapter, which fortunately is available at a low cost.

Thanks to adaptive noise cancellation, the Pi8 recognizes your environment and automatically adapts the noise cancellation to the specific situation. This gives you the perfect function for both the airplane cabin and the office, without having to constantly fiddle with settings. The Pi8 can connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time (Multi-point), so you can quickly switch between the two devices, for example when your phone rings while you are watching a movie on your tablet.

On one battery charge, the B&W Pi8 can play for up to 6.5 hours with ANC activated. With the included charging case, you can carry a total of 20 hours of music in your bag. You can also charge wirelessly using a standard Qi charger, which you may already have for your phone. And if you find that the Pi8 is completely dead on the way out, you can use the quick charge function to get two hours of playback in just 15 minutes.

The Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 are available in a range of colours. The box includes a charging case, USB-C charging cable, mini-jack audio cable and 4 sets of earbuds (XS/S/M/L).

The Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 features touch controls on the earbuds, so you can easily control your music and calls without having to search for tiny buttons like some alternatives. You can also activate the Hear-Through function, which mutes ambient noise, such as when you're in traffic.

With the earbuds in your ears, voice control is the easiest way to manage playback. A tap on the earbud will launch your favorite voice assistant on your phone (like Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, or Siri) and you can control your music selection, respond to messages, or find your way to the nearest pizza place.

If you like to listen to music while working or in other places where the environment often demands your attention, you'll love the smart pause feature. The Pi8 automatically pauses music playback when you remove an earbud and resumes playback from the same point when you're done speaking. A refinement that can really make a difference in a hectic daily life.

The 3 microphones built into each earbud capture ambient noise and ensure optimal reduction, without compromising sound quality. With the dedicated Bowers & Wilkins Music app, you can customize ANC, touch functions, calls and sound to your personal taste.
