MATRIX AUDIO X-SABRE 3

The X-SABRE series has always been a highlight in the Matrix Audio range. Their latest X-SABRE Pro was a very successful MQA DAC.

Matrix Audio has relied on the high-performance ES9038Pro DAC chip as the main decoder chip for the X-SABRE 3. This is a 32-bit high-performance DAC chip that provides excellent high-resolution signal decoding with extremely low distortion and noise in the output. The X-SABRE 3 supports PCM up to 32-Bit/768kHz and DSD up to DSD512 natively. It also features a Crystek CCHD-950 digital audio clock that provides proper signal synchronization.

The X-SABRE 3 has received the required certification from Roon Labs making it Roon Ready out of the box. The certification allows Roon to detect them on the network, provide the highest possible audio quality, and even allow volume control directly from the Roon user interface.

It has a clear, high-resolution LCD display that shows album art in all its glory. It also displays various settings, playback format information, and other information for users.

To ensure high-quality performance, Matrix Audio has designed the power, digital, and analog circuitry with complete isolation from each other. This is done to maintain quality performance for each component.
