The Chord C-lite Optical cable is available in various lengths and terminations: Toslink/TosLink, Toslink/MiniJack, MiniJack/MiniJack. From the pocket portable Digital Audio Player up to longer lengths for use in home systems. Wide bandwidth PMA optical cable with polished ends to improve bandwidth. Center conductor protected by a soft PVC inner jacket, with a hard PVC outer jacket that limits crush damage. Flexible enough to allow for a tight bend radius without impacting performance (does not limit carrier-beam band).

Chord C-lite digital optical connection cable

Chord C-lite is the optical digital HiFi cable of the C-Series line, conceived and designed at The Chord Company, in the south of England. The C-lite is available in a variety of lengths and is fitted with various combinations of Toslink and 3.5mm MiniJack optical connectors. This means that it can be connected to many currently available miniature DACs (digital to analog converters) and DAPs (digital audio players), without having to use a signal-degrading adapter.

Chord C-lite uses broadband PMA optical cable

The ends have been polished to increase bandwidth

The center conductor is protected by a soft PVC inner jacket which is then covered by a hard PVC outer jacket. This helps prevent pinch damage and is flexible enough to allow for a tight bend radius without affecting the transmission characteristics of the cable, i.e. the waveguide.

The Chord C-lite is available in 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m, 8m and 10m lengths in Toslink to Toslink and Mini-Jack to Toslink configurations. For portable equipment, the C-lite is available in 15cm and 30cm lengths, in Toslink to MiniJack and MiniJack to MiniJack configurations.
