Technical features

The new Ortofon 2MR Bronze has been designed to be used in all those situations where the mounting height is reduced, for example in turntables with Rega tonearms, or in general in all turntable/tonearm combinations where it is not possible to vary the VTA and the classic 2M series is too high. Thanks to its small body, the 2MR Bronze head integrates perfectly without the need for modifications or spacers to place under the arm, allowing quick assembly with just two screws. The Ortofon 2MR Bronze cartridge features the same exclusive features as the 2M series, such as, the square voice coil with separate magnets, high quality rubber mounts made in house by Ortofon. All these proprietary technologies benefit playback quality by minimizing eddy current losses and improving channel balance and precision. The resulting sound is detailed and faithful in gathering information from the record's groove.

Furthermore, this 2MR series maintains total compatibility with the styli of the Ortofon 2M series.
