With a maximum bitrate of 1200 kbps, aptX Lossless is the first and only Bluetooth codec capable of transmitting and receiving CD-quality audio without data loss during compression. For example, if a device supports aptX Lossless, you can stream high-quality lossless music from your phone to your hi-fi system.

If you’re not ready for Bluetooth Lossless yet, don’t worry. The iFi Zen Blue 3 is backwards compatible with all current major Bluetooth codecs: aptX Lossless, LDAC™, LHDC/HWA, aptX Adaptive, aptX, AAC, and SBC.

Discrete ESS Sabre Hyperstream DAC chipset with time-domain jitter eliminator, discrete oscillator and 112dB dynamic range for demanding listeners.

You would normally find this type of configuration in high-end products like the Pro iCAN Signature, but iFi is now using it across its range to produce the best possible audio quality for all our customers

Similar to many other iFi audio products, a custom OV Series op amp has been integrated. This high-quality component helps ensure extremely low noise, 0.0001% distortion, and a wide bandwidth.

A key advantage of the ESS Sabre DAC chip is its Hyperstream architecture with integrated time-domain jitter eliminator, which delivers extremely low distortion and wide dynamic range.
